HemiStorm RC – Custom RC builds, painting videos and more

MST or Max Speed Technology is one of the less seen brands out in the trails. After earlier getting one of their other offerings, the MTX-1 I currently have my first kit from the MST line up: the CFX-W.

There have been a number of predecessors with confusing scales, names and features no try to somehow make sense of that I. This video. The CFX-W is definitely a worthy competitor by the looks of all specs on the box. I’m looking forward to build it!

Today I’m focusing on a specific part of detailing a polycarbonate or lexan RC body: the windows.

While most bodies come supplied with window stickers to finish up your painted body, they never look really great, in my opinion. They start to peel, or are a pain to apply. I’m showing you how you can paint your own trim in a few simple steps.

All paints used are from Tamiya’s PS range, specifically made for polycarbonate bodies.

I finally built my Axial SCX10iii, my SCX103, my 3rd gen SCX10, the SCX10 III, whatever you want or choose to call it. I can not emphasize enough how incredible this truck is. A tribute to all that has come before, and a blueprint for everything from here on forward.

The list of specs and features is seemingly endless: dig, a 2 speed, portal axles, off center front pumpkin, all metal gears and the most detailed lexan body with accessories that's available on the market at this point in time.
