Bro-Dozer Tribute

Monster Jam fans know the Diesel Brothers’ Bro-Dozer as the bright yellow Duramax diesel-powered monster truck, but the concept appeared first as a jumbo-sized rock crawler/tow rig hybrid based on a Ford F-350 Super Duty truck. It was stripped down, caged up and sat on top of a set of mega-size military axles and rolling on giant 54-inch Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. Scott built his scale version on a set of Green Mountain RC LCG chassis rails for an Axial SCX10 and a set of SSDRC 60-style axles. Reef’s RC supplied the steering servo and power comes from a Hobbywing 1080 ESC controlling a Holmes 27T Trailmaster motor. The correct look comes courtesy of a Pro-Line Racing Ford Super Duty cab. Pro-Line also supplied the bed cage, roof rack, interior parts and the BFG tires wrapped around Axial’s UMG10 wheels. Scott topped things off with a few random 3D-printed scale bits and painted his Bro-Dozer in Tamiya Camel Yellow.
